AS & A Level Art and Design (applied) Specification
Our AS/A Level Art & Design suite has been redeveloped for teaching from September 2015. However, Ofqual decided not to allow redevelopment of Applied Art & Design AS/A Levels due to overlapping content with new reformed qualifications. To find out more about our reformed suite visit the new qualification page below.
Alternatively, you may be interested in our Level 3 Cambridge Technicals in Art and Design. Cambridge Technicals are vocational qualifications designed to give a work-focused alternative to A Levels.
This qualification provides a more vocational perspective by incorporating learning approaches and activities which reflect the current working practices. The course also offers students the chance to personalise their path of study. Prior study of the subject is not essential, however, students are expected to have some experience in drawing, use of art and design media and an ability for ICT.
