Qualification update

Our Entry Level provision is changing. As part of the reform of general qualifications we have made the difficult decision not to redevelop Entry Level Food Studies. However, you may be interested in our new GCSE (9-1) in Food Preparation and Nutrition, which has been developed for teaching from September 2016.

Benefits

  • Learners will have an opportunity to actively engage in Food Studies
  • In making quality food items, they can develop decision-making, problem-solving and practical skills.
  • Learners will also have a chance to develop an understanding of the food design process
  • You can have a greater level of involvement with this qualification than at GCSE.
