The legacy scheme provided a complete route of progression through the various strands of mathematics, from AS Level, through to the first year of university work. This scheme was designed to meet the needs of a wide range of candidates through an unparalleled choice of units. Extensive support was available to centres and students.

Benefits

  • A simple, flexible structure and clearly defined AS and A2 standards
  • Permits AS Further Mathematics to be studied in Year 12
  • Offers firmly-established routes for progression from GCSE for all students
  • Is externally assessed for all units, and no coursework is involved.
