Alternatively, you may be interested in the Level 3 Cambridge Technicals in Performing Arts. Cambridge Technicals are vocational qualifications designed to give a work-focused alternative to A Levels.

This specification gives learners the opportunity to develop a multi-disciplinary approach to the Performing Arts as they expand their imagination, sensitivity and artistic knowledge of dance, drama and music.

• Provides the opportunity for learners to perform existing pieces and devise original material of their own.
• Practical performance skills are assessed at both AS and A2 levels.
• It cuts the assessment burden on learners with the number of units reduced to 4 (2 at AS, 2 at A2).
